As a professional development coach using positive psychology, I bring years of experience working with people. My goal has been to journey with people so that professional challenges can be transformational. In 2006 I had applied for my dream job. To this day I think I was the best candidate. However the selection committee did not agree. This was the most challenging professional moment in my life. I was able to take time, with coaching and consultation, to learn from this rejection. I was able to see my strengths more clearly, what my goals were, what I wanted to offer in my professional life. I think it was as a redemptive process. What I could not have invited, I was able to use to learn about myself, my practice. I was able to be successful with a whole new lens. And ironically, within five years, I was in a position of senior leadership in the same organization. This experience and other less dramatic ones, inform my coaching practice.

While we might not like or enjoy opportunities, they can be the beginning of something remarkable that we could not have imagined. In many cases the journey can lead us to new relationships, fulfilling new visions and the capacity to understand and contribute to the world in a different and productive way. I have a profound respect for the clients’ personal values. With a compassionate nature, I challenge you to put aside limiting beliefs. I listen so that you can deepen your awareness of what is important to you. I bring encouragement and honesty so that you can succeed and celebrate what is possible for you to achieve!
